Literary Journey Through Historical Fiction and Science Fiction

James Brock Walker spent a great deal of his childhood in Africa. His father was a diplomat posted to Libya, the Ivory Coast and Ethiopia. Brock studied creative writing at the George Washington University and graduated with a journalism degree from the University of Maryland. After college, Brock was commissioned as a navigator in the USAF. While in the military, Brock earned his law degree from the McGeorge School of Law. He left active duty to become a homicide prosecutor in California while also serving as a Staff Judge Advocate in the USAF Reserve. Brock is a decorated combat veteran who volunteered for a tour of duty in Iraq, Enduring Freedom, and the Horn of Africa. Brock is married to Teresa Walker. They have four children between them. He is also a volunteer firefighter and scuba instructor.

Throughout my career, I have specialized in multiple James Brock Walker book genres that showcase my versatility as a storyteller. My passion lies in bringing historical periods to life while also venturing into the boundless possibilities of science fiction. The attention to detail in my historical works reflects my commitment to authenticity and my respect for the past.

  • My first book takes readers into the intricate world of Victorian-era historical fiction, where I meticulously research and recreate the atmosphere, customs, and social dynamics of this fascinating period.
  • My second book represents a complete shift in genre, as I dive into the realm of science fiction. This genre allows me to stretch my imagination and create futuristic scenarios that challenge conventional thinking while entertaining readers with innovative concepts and technologies.
  • Returning to my historical roots, my third book once again focuses on historical fiction, demonstrating my deep appreciation for stories rooted in the past.
